Geogeni.us is an ongoing scavenger hunt for the iPhone that interprets a player’s latitude and longitude as the answer to clues created by other players.
In Order to be a Geogenius, you have to be able to do two things:
1. Decipher cryptic text and pictures about and from your city and neighborhood
2. Challenge pretenders to your Genius throne by making smarter clues than them. (slated for next round of beta)
Using the Open Source PhoneGap Project, we developed a web-based iPhone application that can communicate directly with the GPS hardware via Javascript.
